ObsidianGDPS Guidelines

The community of the ObsidianGDPS is subject to the following rules and guidelines set to establish a safe and friendly environment for any and all community members. If these rules are broken, staff may take action at their own discretion according to the rule and severity of the violating act.

1 – Respect

Everyone deserves respect and boundaries. Please remain respectful of one’s space.

1.1 – Hate Speech

Do not incite hate or toxic behavior towards any harmless individual/community.

1.2 – Language

The ObsidianGDPS community consists of people aged 13 years or older. Participation of individuals younger than such will result in moderation action such as temporary account deactivation. Swearing is allowed as long as not used to disrespect another person. Usage of discriminative language such as slurs is not allowed.

1.3 – Privacy

Refrain from invading someone’s personal space, or revealing potentially sensitive information unless they can prove you had their permission to do so.

1.4 – Criticism

The ObsidianGDPS serves as a space to share creative work in the form of Geometry Dash levels. Levels are always subject to any form of criticism. However, this criticism must be delivered professionally and serve as constructive.

1.5 – Stealing

Under no circumstance should any player use any level or its assets for a level without permission from the original creator and publish it as their own. A good rule of thumb is to attempt to remake an asset from scratch and you’ll likely get a unique result.

2 – Spam

Obtrusive content unrelated to the purpose of a conversation or space is not allowed.

2.1 – Advertising

Unsolicited advertisements or promotion of third-party products or services is prohibited. To negotiate for a proper sponsorship, please send us an email at [email protected].

2.2 – Bots

Using botted accounts to overload areas such as comment sections or private messages with junk content is strictly prohibited and will result in IP bans being issued to the violaters.

3 – NSFW

Content that is in any way inappropriate is not allowed.

3.1 – Graphic imagery

Intense depiction of sensitive content such as gore or sexual scenes is strictly prohibited.

3.2 – Bad Implications

Broadly describing or talking about topics that are known to be discomforting to people is not allowed. Refrain from continuing a conversation if people deem it as sensitive or unnecessary.
